Huawei has officially unveiled the Band 9, the latest iteration in its popular fitness tracker lineup. Retaining a design reminiscent of its predecessors, the Band 9 introduces core features that users rely on in a compact and comfortable fitness device.
Specifications of Huawei Band 9
The device boasts a simple rectangular shape with a curved screen and easily accessible side buttons. Furthermore, the Huawei Band 9 is remarkably lightweight and slim, weighing just 14 grams and measuring 8.9mm in thickness.
With a 1.47-inch AMOLED display and water resistance up to 5ATM, users can wear it while swimming or exercising in rainy conditions.
Huawei Band 9 offers over 100 sports modes. The Huawei TruSleep 4.0 feature promises comprehensive sleep tracking, providing detailed data on users’ sleep stages and efficiency.
Huawei claims that the Band 9 offers up to 14 days of battery life under normal usage and 9 days under heavy usage. Additionally, the device boasts fast charging capabilities, with just 45 minutes needed for a full recharge.
Utilizing Bluetooth 5.3 for connectivity, the Band 9 is compatible with both Android phones (Android 9.0 and higher) and iPhones (iOS 11 and later). Users can view all their health metrics and statistics in the Huawei Health app.
While Huawei has commenced pre-orders in Malaysia, official pricing details have yet to be announced. It is expected that Huawei will reveal pricing details shortly. The latest Huawei smartband is likely to be available in Indonesia soon.
