All the iPad Air models Apple has released so far have featured screens smaller than 11 inches. However, according to reports from DigiTimes, the Cupertino-based tech giant is currently in the process of creating a larger iPad Air, boasting a 12.9-inch diagonal display.
Citing information from “industry sources,” the publication has also suggested that this 12.9″ iPad Air will come equipped with an LCD screen, as opposed to the mini-LED panel found in the 12.9″ iPad Pro.
Recent rumors have indicated that Apple is actively working on two distinct iPad Air models, identified as J537 and J538. It’s possible that one of these models may be the 12.9″ iPad Air, while the other could be an 11-inch variant. More details regarding these versions are expected to emerge in the upcoming months.
