Samsung continues its rollout of the September 2023 update, extending its reach to additional devices. Among the beneficiaries of this month’s security patch are the Galaxy A52 and Galaxy Xcover 5. Here’s a comprehensive overview of these developments.

In Canada, the Galaxy A52 (SM-A526W) is currently receiving the September 2023 security patch. This update is identified by firmware version A526WVLSAEWH1 and is being distributed to Galaxy A52 users across several networks, including Bell Mobile, SaskTel, Virgin Mobile, Tbaytel, Videotron, EastLink, Telus, Cahatr Mobile, Fido, Koodo, Globalive, and Rogers.

On the other hand, the rugged Galaxy Xcover 5 (SM-G525F) is undergoing the September 2023 update in select North and South American countries, specifically Mexico, Guatemala, and Argentina. Users can recognize this update by its firmware version G525FXXS8CWH3.

Both the Galaxy A52 and Galaxy Xcover 5 operate on Android 13 and One UI 5, with these latest updates primarily focusing on routine security enhancements.

Users in eligible regions can easily obtain the September 2023 update for their Galaxy A52 and Xcover 5 devices by navigating to the “Software update” section within the Settings app on their phones and selecting “Download and install.” For those who prefer manual updates via their PCs, official firmware files are available for download on our website.
