A leaked promotional image offers a sneak peek at the upcoming Galaxy S23 FE, shedding light on its overall design and unveiling the four color choices for Samsung’s next Fan Edition smartphone. The render also hints at the return of the beloved purple hue from the Galaxy S9 series.

The leaked render, shared via MSPowerUser, not only confirms the device’s moniker as the Galaxy S23 FE but also showcases its design, featuring flat panels and distinct camera cutouts. Additionally, it introduces four color variants: violet/purple, graphite, white, and lime/mint green.

While the official names for these colors remain unclear, the Galaxy S23 FE appears to boast a glossy finish complemented by metallic rings around the three rear-facing cameras, matching the color scheme of the rear panel.

An Affordable Alternative to 2023 Flagship Phones

Samsung has yet to officially disclose availability and pricing details for the Galaxy S23 FE. Nevertheless, we anticipate that this device will be priced higher than the Galaxy A54 but more affordable than the base Galaxy S23 model.

In essence, the Fan Edition device aims to provide a cost-effective alternative to the Galaxy S23. It is expected to incorporate a high-end chipset, albeit not from the current generation lineup, potentially featuring an Exynos 2200 and/or Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC.

Other notable specifications may include a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, storage options of 128GB and 256GB, a robust 4,500mAh battery, and a camera setup comprising a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 12MP telephoto lens.

Samsung may unveil the Galaxy S23 FE before the close of this year, though certain markets might have to wait until Q1 2024 to get their hands on the device. In addition to this leaked render, earlier today, Samsung inadvertently listed the Galaxy S23 FE on the Spanish Samsung Pay portal, confirming the phone’s name and its compatibility with the mobile payment platform. It is evident that as more leaks surface, Samsung is gearing up for the imminent release of this highly anticipated smartphone.
