In the previous week, we unveiled images and specifications of the upcoming Oukitel WP30 Pro rugged smartphone, set to make its debut in the first half of November 2023. However, that’s not the only product Oukitel has in store for next month, as the brand is also set to introduce a new tablet, named the Oukitel OT5.
The Oukitel OT5 will be powered by the Helio G99 SoC and boast 12GB of RAM along with 256GB of onboard storage. Out of the box, the tablet will run Android 13, although it remains uncertain how many future OS version upgrades and software updates it will receive.
The standout feature of the Oukitel OT5 is its 12″ 2K LCD display, complemented by a robust 11,000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. On the front, you’ll find a 5MP selfie camera, while the rear is equipped with a 16MP primary camera alongside a 2MP macro unit.
The OT5 will be available in three different colors, and the images we’ve obtained confirm compatibility with a stylus and keyboard, both of which will be sold separately. The tablet will also feature a USB-C port at the bottom, flanked by two speakers, with two additional speakers positioned on the top-side frame. On the right side, there will be a volume rocker and an accentuated power button.
Described as “a tablet for fun and study,” the Oukitel OT5 will have a slim profile, measuring 7.5mm in thickness. As for its weight, that information has not yet been disclosed.
The Oukitel OT5 is scheduled for launch in mid-November, with an initial sale price of less than $200 (€190/INR16,650).
