The Huawei Watch Ultimate, hailed as one of the most premium smartwatches from the renowned Chinese manufacturer, made its European debut earlier this year. Now, the company has introduced a new variant that takes luxury to another level. The Watch Ultimate is now available in a stunning gold edition, featuring genuine 18K gold. Here are the key highlights of this exquisite timepiece.
The Watch Ultimate Gold Edition marks Huawei’s inaugural foray into the world of gold smartwatches. As depicted in the images, this wearable boasts a gold bezel and a gold crown adorned with intricate 3D trapezoidal patterns, meticulously crafted through a diamond-cut engraving process.
Huawei has also paid meticulous attention to the strap, featuring a gold PVD titanium strap with an adjustable butterfly buckle, exuding elegance and practicality. To ensure durability and resilience, the Watch employs a nano-tech Ceramic frame constructed using over 24 intricate processing techniques. Some of these techniques include CNC precision machining and fine engraving. Notably, the Huawei Watch Ultimate Gold edition is reported to be 6 to 7 times harder than stainless steel, offering remarkable scratch and corrosion resistance properties.
Despite the luxurious upgrade, the technical specifications of the wearable remain consistent. It features a 1.5-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 450 x 450 pixels and variable refresh rates ranging from 1 to 60 Hz, courtesy of LTPO backplane technology. Huawei asserts that the Watch Ultimate’s 530mAh battery can deliver up to 14 days of usage on a single charge, extending to 8 days with intensive usage. It continues to support Huawei’s suite of exercise and health applications, alongside NFC and ECG technologies.
The Huawei Watch Ultimate Gold Edition is slated for release in October, although the exact launch date remains undisclosed. It will be available in Europe with a price tag of €2999 ($3198), truly earning its status as a wearable masterpiece that combines technology and jewelry craftsmanship seamlessly.
