In June, Infinix introduced the Note 30 VIP smartphone in two color variants, Magic Black and Glacier Blue. Today, these options are joined by a special edition of the smartphone known as the Infinix Note 30 VIP Racing Edition.
In a strategic partnership with BMW Group’s Designworks, Infinix has crafted the Note 30 VIP Racing Edition, which the company describes as “a powerful symbol of performance and racing enthusiasm.” The device incorporates elements inspired by the world of racing into its design, aiming to symbolize speed and passion while delivering personalized experiences to its youthful user base.
The design of the Infinix Note 30 VIP Racing Edition draws inspiration from street racing, featuring the innovative 3D Lighting Leather technology on its rear cover. This technology allows the rear light band, adorned in BMW’s iconic tri-color, to shine through the black leather grain.
According to Infinix, this light band, which communicates the phone’s status through various light patterns, signifies speed, performance, and power. It resonates with the advanced nature of the Digital Racing Dashboard and Infinix’s unwavering spirit of embracing challenges.
The Infinix Note 30 VIP Racing Edition also incorporates motorsport elements into its design, mirroring the aesthetics of racing with a checkered flag pattern on the back cover. The palm grip is adorned with small triangles, enhancing grip and stability, much like performance racing steering wheels.
However, the differences between the Infinix Note 30 VIP Racing Edition and the standard model go beyond cosmetic enhancements. The Racing Edition includes an extensively customized operating system that harmonizes with the colors of the rear light band and Magic Ring, inspired by Apple’s Dynamic Island. This customized OS aims to facilitate seamless multitasking by eliminating the need for app switching.
Additionally, the Infinix Note 30 VIP Racing Edition comes in a special BMW-themed retail package, complete with extra accessories such as a 15W wireless charger and TWS earphones. Infinix is also extending VIP benefits to customers of the Racing Edition, offering exclusive after-sales support, prioritized repair services, and other premium VIP privileges.
Nonetheless, the specifications of the Infinix Note 30 VIP Racing Edition remain consistent with the regular model. This means you’ll find the Dimensity 8050 SoC, a 6.67″ FullHD+ 120Hz AMOLED screen, a 108MP primary camera, a 32MP selfie camera, and JBL-tuned stereo speakers. The smartphone also features an in-display fingerprint scanner and houses a 5,000 mAh battery supporting 68W wired and 50W wireless charging.
The Infinix Note 30 VIP Racing Edition is set to be released in global markets at an approximate price of $315. However, details regarding the amount of RAM and storage onboard have not been disclosed yet. The standard model is equipped with 256GB of storage and up to 12GB of RAM.
