Just a few hours ago, we reported the appearance of the upcoming Tecno Spark 20 on the Google Play Console. Now, it’s Infinix’s turn to step into the spotlight as their Smart 8 has made an appearance on the same platform.
The listing has provided some insights into its specifications, along with a rather low-quality image showing its front design.
The Infinix Smart 8 boasts 3GB of RAM, runs on Android 13, and is equipped with the Unisoc T606 SoC. This suggests two key points: it lacks 5G support, and it is positioned as a budget-friendly device. The screen features a resolution of 720×1612.
Previously disclosed details, thanks to its FCC certification, include a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 10W fast charging. The dimensions of the Infinix Smart 8 are 164 x 76 x 9 mm.
At this moment, the official release date for the Infinix Smart 8 remains unclear. However, historically, Infinix tends to launch new phones shortly after their appearance on the Google Play Console. For context, the Smart 7 was released in February, and the Smart 7 HD followed in April. Interestingly, despite the different names, both these models share the same screen resolution as the Smart 8.
