Apple’s A17 Pro chipset continues to demonstrate its impressive speed, as previously seen in its Geekbench test results. Now, we have the opportunity to witness its performance on AnTuTu, and the results are nothing short of remarkable. The A17 Pro, powering the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max, has secured its position as one of the fastest smartphones on AnTuTu, achieving a remarkable combined score of 1,641,883 points.

To put this achievement into perspective, the A16 Bionic chip from the previous year managed to score 1,474,011 points, while the Apple M1 chip, commonly found in Apple laptops and iPads, closely trails behind at 1,754,456 points. Furthermore, the iPhone 15 Pro Max surpasses the Android-leading nubia Red Magic 8 Pro+, which achieved a respectable score of “only” 1,632,859 points.

Breaking down the A17 Pro’s performance, it impresses with a CPU score of 392,643 points and a GPU score of 597,734 points. Apple had previously claimed that the A17 Pro chip offers a 20% improvement in the GPU department compared to the outgoing A16 Bionic, and AnTuTu’s results confirm a nearly 27% difference in favor of the newer chipset’s GPU. Additionally, the A17 Pro takes the lead in the memory department test with an impressive score of 306,164.

The iPhone 15 Pro Max, powered by the A17 Pro chipset, clearly establishes itself as a powerhouse in the world of smartphones, setting new standards for performance and speed. Apple’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of mobile technology is evident in the remarkable performance of its latest flagship device.
