The iQOO Neo9 series is set to make its debut in December, as confirmed by an official teaser on Weibo. The teaser image not only announced the imminent arrival of the Neo9 but also provided a glimpse of its distinctive design. The rear of the device features two circular camera modules, and the standout design element is a two-tone composition with different finishes.
Approximately one-third of the back panel showcases a White woven fabric texture, while the remaining two-thirds sport a Red leather finish. It’s worth noting that both materials are likely based on plastic, despite their realistic appearance.
This official preview aligns with earlier leaks shared by a reliable source. Anticipated specifications for the Neo9 include a sizable 6.78-inch display with a 1220p resolution, a Sony IMX920 sensor incorporated into the camera setup, and the utilization of a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset for the Neo9 Pro variant.
Traditionally equipped with three cameras, the Neo series made a shift in its previous Neo8 lineup by eliminating the macro shooter and opting for a dual-camera solution. Positioned as iQOO’s mid-range tier, the Neo series aims to offer a balance between the Z series and the more powerful flagship devices.
