The highly anticipated Motorola Edge 40 Neo smartphone has officially made its debut in the EMEA region. Just recently, the company confirmed its official launch date in India, which is set for September 21st. This new addition joins the already impressive Edge 40 series, which includes the Edge 40 and Edge 40 Pro models. The standout features of the Motorola Edge 40 Neo include the MediaTek Dimensity 7030 chipset, a robust 5,000 mAh battery, and a 50 MP main camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) support.

Price and Availability

Motorola has priced the Edge 40 Neo smartphone at EUR 399 for the sole configuration option of 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. Interested buyers can find it available for purchase in European, Middle Eastern, and African markets. Regarding color choices, it comes in Black Beauty, Caneel Bay, and Soothing Sea variants.

This smartphone boasts a 6.55-inch Full HD+ pOLED display, which not only offers a smooth 144 Hz refresh rate but also dazzles with 1300 nits of peak brightness. The screen is safeguarded by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7030 SoC, coupled with a Mali-G610 MC1 GPU for impressive graphics performance. Additionally, the handset offers a generous 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of uMCP inbuilt storage.

On the photography front, the Motorola Edge 40 Neo is equipped with a dual-camera setup on the rear. This setup comprises a 50 MP primary camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) support, along with a 13 MP sensor featuring an ultra-wide-angle lens. For selfie enthusiasts, the front side of the phone sports a 32 MP selfie camera.

The device is powered by a robust 5,000 mAh battery, supporting rapid 68W wired fast charging. It comes with an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance and incorporates an in-display fingerprint sensor for enhanced security.
