Earlier today, a leak unveiled the design of the upcoming Galaxy S24, showcasing flat sides—a departure from Samsung’s traditional curved-edge designs. Now, a similar design has been leaked for the Galaxy A15, suggesting a consistent design strategy for Samsung’s smartphones in the coming year.

Evan Blass, a renowned leakster, shared a slightly blurry image of the Galaxy A15 in its black variant. From the image, it becomes evident that the budget-friendly phone will feature flat sides, mirroring the design of the forthcoming Galaxy S24 series. The rear of the device exhibits a clean and straightforward design with three vertically aligned camera sensors. On the side, there’s a side-mounted power button, which includes a built-in capacitive fingerprint reader, along with a volume rocker.

This leak aligns with a previous one that presented the phone’s design through 3D CAD renders. It appears that Samsung intends to incorporate flat sides into all its smartphones slated for release next year. This move signifies the company’s commitment to establishing a cohesive design identity across its entire smartphone lineup. While this can be advantageous in terms of brand recognition, it may pose a challenge for consumers trying to differentiate between various Galaxy models with similar designs.

The Galaxy A15 is rumored to be impressively thin, measuring just 8.4mm in thickness, thinner than its predecessor, the Galaxy A14. It is expected to sport a 6.4-inch screen with a U-shaped notch, a triple-camera setup on the rear, and a substantial 5,000mAh battery or even larger. More detailed information about the phone is anticipated to emerge in the forthcoming weeks.
