HMD Global, the company behind Nokia phones, has unveiled an exciting update for its Nokia 2660 Flip phone in India. They have integrated the UPI Scan and Pay functionality, offering users a seamless and secure way to conduct digital transactions with just a simple button press.
Previously, the UPI Scan and Pay feature were accessible on several Nokia feature phones, including the budget-friendly Nokia 110 2G phone. However, HMD Global has now extended this feature by releasing a software update to the existing user base of Nokia 2660 Flip devices.
HMD Global introduced the Nokia 2660 Flip phone to the Indian market last year, and more recently, they’ve expanded the color options with the addition of Pop Pink and Lush Green variants.
The Nokia 2660 Flip is a feature-packed phone with a generously sized 2.8-inch display and compatibility with hearing aids. One notable safety feature is the emergency button, allowing users to swiftly contact up to five pre-saved contacts during emergencies.
In terms of connectivity, the device boasts dual 4G SIM card slots and VoLTE support, ensuring crystal-clear and reliable voice calls. The phone is powered by a removable 1450mAh battery, capable of lasting several days on a single charge.
Users can also increase their storage capacity by adding a microSD card to the device. The Nokia 2660 Flip operates on the Series 30+ operating system and includes a VGA camera and FM radio support. It is available for purchase in India through various channels, including Amazon and both offline and online retail stores, at a price of Rs. 4,499.
