Samsung has expanded the rollout of the One UI 6 beta, with the latest firmware now accessible for the Galaxy Z Fold4, Galaxy Z Flip4, and the Galaxy F23 in South Korea. This comes after last week’s release of the beta for the Galaxy Z Fold5 and Z Flip5. The new update brings several exciting features and improvements, providing users with a glimpse of Android 14.

One UI 6 introduces a revamped Quick Panel and incorporates AI enhancements into the Gallery, featuring tools like Photo Remaster and Object Eraser. Moreover, users can explore Samsung Studio, a multi-layer video editor that allows them to add text, stickers, and music to their video clips. The update also introduces new camera widgets that can be customized to launch the camera in various modes, such as front or back camera, photo or video mode, pro mode, and night mode.

Version 6 brings changes to multitasking as well. When a pop-up window is open and users access Recent apps, the window no longer minimizes, enabling uninterrupted usage. Additionally, a new feature allows users to drag and drop items on the homescreen using both hands, making it easier to reorganize content on the spacious internal display of the foldable devices.

It’s important to note that the availability of One UI 6 beta for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5 and Z Flip5 outside of Korea has not been confirmed. The updates for these devices were initially released in the United States and India, and it seems that Samsung is taking a gradual approach to their global rollout.

As for the Galaxy F23, this smartphone is a variant of the Galaxy M23, which is available in India. Both devices share nearly identical hardware and were launched with Android 12. The Galaxy F23 received an Android 13 update in December of the previous year. This suggests that an update for the M23 version may not be far off, although no official announcement has been made yet.

While waiting for the update, it is advisable to install the Samsung Members app, as it will be necessary to apply for the One UI Beta Program. Once the beta becomes available in your region, the app will notify you. However, some users may prefer to skip the beta and await the stable release for a more seamless experience.
