Within a fortnight, OnePlus is set to unveil its latest flagship from the number series on the global stage. The launch event is scheduled for January 23, and the OnePlus 12 (review) is already confirmed to be accessible on Amazon in India.
Although available in China, the global variant shares identical specifications, leaving only the smartphone’s configurations and pricing undisclosed. Just ahead of the official launch, pricing details for one of its variants have surfaced.
OnePlus 12 Price Leaked in India Before Launch
Notably, tipster Ishan Agarwal discovered the listing for the OnePlus 12 on Amazon India, which has since been removed. The shared screenshot on X (formerly Twitter) discloses vital information about the upcoming flagship. The listed configuration for the OnePlus 12 includes 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, with a price tag of Rs 69,999. It’s important to note that this is the MRP, and the actual retail price might be lower.
Contrary to previous reports, there is no 8GB + 128GB base configuration for the OnePlus 12. Additionally, it will be available in a 16GB + 512GB option, doubling the storage from its predecessor’s 256GB.
Recall that the OnePlus 11 5G started at Rs 56,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant, while the 16GB + 256GB variant was priced at Rs 61,999 during its launch. The accidentally leaked Amazon pricing for the OnePlus 12 suggests a notable price increase from its predecessor’s base variant. However, this seems justified given the enhancements expected in the upcoming device. Official confirmation is anticipated at the launch event.
The OnePlus 12 retains the design of its predecessor, boasting notable upgrades such as a BOE-supplied curved OLED display with a peak brightness of 4,500 nits, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, a periscope lens, and a 5,400mAh battery with 50W wireless charging.
