vivo is set to expand its V29 series, which already includes the V29, V29e, and V29 Lite, with the upcoming launch of the V29 Pro on October 4th. The smartphone will make its debut in India at noon local time and will be available for purchase through various channels, including vivo’s official Indian website, Flipkart, and offline retail stores.
The press release we’ve received indicates that vivo is preparing to introduce the entire “V29 series” in India next Wednesday, implying the release of multiple phones. It’s worth noting that the V29e has already been launched in India, while there is no mention of the V29 Lite on the promotional page on vivo’s Indian website.
While specific details regarding the V29 Pro’s specifications have not yet been disclosed, vivo has provided a glimpse of its design and color options. The smartphone will be available in three striking colors: Himalayan Blue, Majestic Red, and Space Black. Similar to previous models like the V23 Pro, V25 Pro, and V27 Pro, the V29 Pro’s back panel is designed to change color, with this feature being exclusive to the Majestic Red version.
One notable feature of the V29 Pro is its circular flash ring called the “Smart Aura Light,” which is situated on the rear cover alongside three cameras. One of these cameras is referred to as the “2x Pro Portrait Camera,” featuring Sony’s IMX663 sensor, promising impeccable edge detection and stunning background bokeh effects.
In addition to these features, the vivo V29 Pro will introduce three India-exclusive Wedding Style Portrait filters: Prosecco, Neo Retro, and Pastels. Furthermore, the smartphone will be slightly heavier than the V29, weighing in at 188g.
As the launch date approaches, we can anticipate vivo revealing more information about the V29 Pro. Stay tuned for further updates in the lead-up to the event next week.
