Xiaomi’s latest smartphone, the Redmi Note 13 Pro, has made an appearance in the Geekbench 6 database, revealing that it is powered by the newly introduced Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 System-on-Chip (SoC).

In benchmark testing, the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 platform demonstrated impressive performance, scoring 1012 points in single-threaded mode and 2943 points in multi-threaded mode. While this represents a notable improvement over the previous Snapdragon 7 Gen 1, it falls slightly short of the Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 2, which boasts scores of around 1700 and 4400 points, respectively.

The device’s software also indicates that it utilizes the Adreno 710 GPU, in contrast to the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1’s Adreno 644 and the Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 2’s Adreno 725. However, the model names alone don’t provide a complete picture of their capabilities. For reference, in AnTuTu 10 benchmarks, the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 achieves approximately 660,000 points, while the Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 2 outperforms it with a score of around 1.1 million points.

It’s worth noting that the test unit was equipped with 16 GB of RAM, suggesting that there may be variants with less memory in the pipeline.

Stay tuned for further updates on the Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC.
