Xiaomi has officially introduced the Redmi Note 13 series in India, comprising the Redmi Note 13 5G, Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G, and Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus 5G, as anticipated.

While these models are consistent with their Chinese counterparts, the base variant, Redmi Note 13 5G, stands out with an enhanced camera system compared to its Chinese counterpart.

Redmi Note 13 5G Specifications

The Redmi Note 13 5G boasts a flat frame design, presenting a more boxy appearance with a square camera island.

Featuring a 6.67-inch centered punch-hole AMOLED display safeguarded by Corning Gorilla Glass 5, this device offers a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels (FHD+), a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. The display supports up to 1920Hz PWM dimming and achieves a peak brightness level of 1000 nits.

Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6080 chipset, coupled with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. It runs on MIUI 14 based on Android 13.

The camera setup on the rear comprises a 108MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide unit, and a 2MP macro snapper. On the front, there’s a 16MP selfie camera.

Connectivity options include dual SIM, 5G, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, GNSS, and USB Type-C. The device also features a 3.5mm headphone jack, dual stereo speakers, a MicroSD card slot, an IR blaster, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and an IP54 rating for splash resistance.

Notably, the Redmi Note 13 5G is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery supporting 33W wired charging.

The Redmi Note 13 5G is priced as follows in India:

  • 6GB + 128GB – ₹17,999 (~$215)
  • 8GB + 256GB – ₹19,999 (~$240)
  • 12GB + 256GB – ₹21,999 (~$265)

Available in Arctic White, Stealth Black, or Prism Gold, the first sale is scheduled for 12 PM on January 10 through Mi.com, Amazon, and retail stores
