Samsung is reportedly in the process of developing the Galaxy S24 series of smartphones. Following the pattern of its predecessor series, the S24 lineup will consist of the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, and Galaxy S24 Ultra. Three new Samsung phones have recently surfaced in the 3C certification platform’s database, and it strongly suggests that these are the upcoming Galaxy S24 models.
As depicted in the screenshot above, three Samsung phones bearing the model numbers SM-S9210, SM-S9260, and SM-S9280 have made an appearance in the 3C certification platform’s records. These devices are believed to be the forthcoming Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, and Galaxy S24 Ultra.
The 3C certifications indicate that the Galaxy S24 may come equipped with 25W charging support. Conversely, the Galaxy S24 Plus and S24 Ultra are expected to support 45W fast charging. While there were speculations that the S24 Ultra might boast 65W charging capabilities, the 3C certification has confirmed its support for 45W charging.
Interestingly, the Galaxy S24 series has made its appearance in the 3C database earlier than the Galaxy S23. To provide some context, the Galaxy S23 models were listed on 3C in late September 2022. This early sighting of the S24 lineup suggests that it may make its debut a bit ahead of the S23 series.
For reference, the Galaxy S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra were officially announced on February 1 last year. It is highly plausible that the S24 series will be unveiled in January 2024.
