Xiaomi is preparing to unveil its Redmi Note 13 series in China on Thursday, comprising at least three models: Note 13, Note 13 Pro, and Note 13 Pro+. Recent developments have provided confirmation regarding the chipset that will power the Note 13 Pro. This upcoming mid-range smartphone from Xiaomi will debut with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2, Qualcomm’s latest midrange chipset, which was officially announced over the weekend.

Qualcomm’s latest 7-series chipset is manufactured using a cutting-edge 4nm process and features an eight-core CPU configuration. It includes four high-performance cores clocked at 2.4GHz and four power-efficient cores running at 1.9GHz.

In terms of connectivity, the 7s Gen 2 lags slightly behind the 7+ Gen 2, featuring a slightly less capable FastConnect 6700 connectivity system. In addition, the Redmi Note 13 Pro, identified as Xiaomi 2312CRAD3C, is listed with up to 16GB of RAM and is expected to run Android 13, likely with MIUI 14 as its user interface.

Xiaomi has also confirmed that the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ will be equipped with the Dimensity 7200-Ultra chipset. This leaves only the standard Note 13 as the remaining piece of the puzzle, eagerly anticipated ahead of the official announcement.
